Define ‘Front-Running’ in a Traditional Financial Market.

In traditional financial markets, front-running is the illegal practice of a broker or trader executing orders on a security for their own account while knowing about a pending, large client order that is likely to affect the price. The perpetrator profits from the anticipated price movement before the client's order is executed.

This is a form of market abuse due to the exploitation of privileged, non-public information.
