Explain the Concept of “Attestation” in Ethereum PoS.

Attestation is the act of a validator voting on the validity of a new block and confirming its place in the chain. Every validator is randomly assigned to an "attestation committee" for a specific "slot." They verify the proposed block and broadcast their vote (attestation) to the network.

These attestations are aggregated, and if enough votes are gathered, the block is confirmed and moves toward finality. This is the core mechanism for achieving consensus.
