Explain the Role of “Delta Hedging” for an Options LP.

Delta hedging is the process by which an options Liquidity Provider (LP) takes an offsetting position in the underlying asset to neutralize the options position's Delta, or sensitivity to the underlying price change. Since Delta changes as the underlying price moves, the LP must constantly adjust this hedge (dynamic hedging) to remain market-neutral and manage their inventory risk.
