How Could a Put Option Be Used to Hedge a DAO’s Native Token Holdings?

A DAO could purchase put options on its native token to protect the value of its treasury against a significant market downturn. By buying the put, the DAO secures the right to sell the token at a predetermined strike price.

This strategy establishes a minimum value for a portion of the treasury, providing a floor against volatility risk for a cost (the premium).
