How Do RFQ Platforms Manage the Balance between Anonymity and KYC/AML Compliance?

RFQ platforms maintain anonymity during the quoting and execution phase to prevent front-running. However, the platform and its prime broker/custodian counterparties conduct full Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks before the client is allowed to trade.

The platform knows the identity of both parties, but this information is shielded from the counterparties until post-trade settlement.
