How Does a 1-Block Reorg Differ from a Deep Reorg in Terms of Network Impact?

A 1-block reorg is a common, natural event where a competing block is replaced by a new, slightly longer chain. The network impact is minimal, usually involving only one or two transactions being temporarily unconfirmed before being included in the next block.

A deep reorg (e.g. 10+ blocks), however, is a major, suspicious event that rolls back a significant number of transactions.

This causes widespread transaction finality uncertainty, requires a much higher attack cost, and can severely damage the network's reputation and trust.
