How Does a Reputation System Contribute to Sybil Resistance in an Oracle Network?

A reputation system tracks the historical performance, accuracy, and timeliness of each oracle node operator. Nodes with a high reputation are prioritized and may be assigned more high-value data requests, while nodes with a poor reputation are sidelined or eventually excluded.

This system deters Sybil attacks because a new, unproven node (potentially an attacker) cannot immediately gain the necessary trust or influence to corrupt the aggregated data.
