How Does a ‘Vanity Address’ Creation Process Relate to the Security of the Private Key?

A vanity address is a Bitcoin address with a custom, human-readable prefix (e.g. '1Bank.

'). Creating one involves brute-forcing billions of private keys until a corresponding public key hash matches the desired pattern.

This process does not inherently weaken the cryptographic security of the final private key. However, if the vanity address generation software is flawed or the private key is not immediately moved to a secure cold storage, the key is vulnerable during the generation process.
