How Does the MEV-Boost Mechanism Change the Relationship between Searchers and Proposers?

MEV-Boost, part of the Proposer-Builder Separation (PBS) design, separates the role of block building from block proposing. Searchers submit bundles to block builders, who create the full block.

Proposers then select the most profitable block header offered by the builders. This allows proposers (validators) to earn MEV revenue without running complex searcher/builder infrastructure.
