How Is ‘Reputation Scoring’ Used to Secure a DON?

Reputation scoring assigns a score to each Oracle node based on the accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of the data it provides. Nodes with high scores are trusted more and are often given more weight in the final price aggregation.

Conversely, nodes that submit inaccurate or malicious data are penalized by having their score reduced or by losing staked collateral. This incentivizes honest behavior.
