How Is the Intrinsic Value of a Call Option Calculated?

The intrinsic value of a call option is calculated by taking the current market price of the underlying cryptocurrency and subtracting the option's strike price. This calculation only yields a positive value when the market price is higher than the strike price (ITM).

If the result is zero or negative, the intrinsic value is considered zero.
