What Are the Main Criticisms of the PoA Model?

The main criticisms of the PoA model center on its complexity and potential for centralization. Critics argue that maintaining two separate consensus mechanisms (PoW and PoS) is overly complex.

Furthermore, the PoS component, if not designed carefully, can lead to a small group of wealthy stakers dominating the validation process. The PoW component also retains some of the environmental concerns of pure PoW, albeit reduced.
