What Is a ‘Stuck Transaction’ and How Is It Resolved?

A stuck transaction is one that has been broadcast to the network but remains unconfirmed, usually because the user set the gas price or priority fee too low. To resolve it, a user can attempt to 'cancel' the transaction by sending a new transaction with the same nonce but a higher fee, or 'speed up' the transaction by sending the same transaction with a higher fee.
