What Is the Current Block Reward for Bitcoin?

The current block reward for Bitcoin is 3.125 BTC, following the halving event in April 2024. This reward includes the newly minted coins and is granted to the miner who successfully finds the next block.

The block reward will continue to halve approximately every four years until the maximum supply of 21 million Bitcoin is nearly reached, which is expected around the year 2140.
