What Is the Incentive for a Token Holder to Participate in DAO Governance?

The primary incentive is to protect and increase the value of their token holdings by influencing the protocol's future direction. Participation can lead to better fee structures, new features, or improved security, all of which benefit the token's value.

Some DAOs also offer direct voting rewards or "bribes" to encourage engagement.
