What Is the Trade-off between a Low Threshold and Gas Costs?

A low deviation threshold (e.g. 0.1%) ensures the smart contract receives near real-time price updates, providing high data freshness and accuracy.

However, this high frequency of updates results in significantly higher gas costs, as the oracle network must execute an on-chain transaction for nearly every minor price fluctuation. The trade-off is between data quality (low threshold) and operational expense (high gas cost).
